DISTRICT PROFILE - KAPITI-WELLINGTON DISTRICT
Kapiti-Wellington District covers an area from Brooklyn in the south to Levin in the north. There are 16 lodges in the District. Prior to the recent boundary changes the Kapiti-Wellington District was the biggest in New Zealand.
The geographical and demographic differences across the District add to the rich tapestry of a diverse District. The capital city in the South plays host to some of the oldest Craft Lodges in New Zealand, with the Lodges becoming slightly more 'laid back' as you travel up the Kapiti Coast to the Horowhenua.
