Mike was initiated into Freemasonry in 2003 and is a member of the Avon Shirley Lodge No185 in Canterbury plus the Havelock Lodge No104 in Marlborough.

Employed by Airways NZ - Mike is an Air Traffic Controller currently based at the Christchurch Radar Centre.

Married to Lesley for 33 years, they have 2 adult children. Sporting interests include sailing and football.

Mike is very keen on outdoor pursuits and includes walking and hiking, free diving and fishing as current interests, and is a keen skier.

Grant is married to his wife Penny with 2 daughters and a Grandson, he is a Third Generation Tradesman Saddler and ran the 105 year family business for 25 years, he is now semi retired operating a small business.

Grant joined Waihora Lodge 141 in 1981, served as Wor. Master in 1988, he joined lodge of Progress when Waihora closed and is begining his 3rd term as Wor. Master in Lodge of Progress No.22. He served a term as Provincial Grand Steward of Canterbury in the 1990's. Having been a Brass bandsman, he has performed the Herald duties at Installations for about 30 years.

Outside of Lodge Grant has been very involved in Community organisations - Volunteer Fireman for 45 years, Currently a Board member starting a Museum in the Selwyn District, Organiser for the Business and Promotions group in Ellesmere, and other activites.

He has been involved with a number of Sporting organisations over the years - Smallbore Target Rifle shooting and Golf are the prefered activites now.

I came to NZ in 1974 from the Isle of Man, employed as a teacher of Mathematics. During the late 20th century I played and coached softball in South Canterbury, took part in amateur dramatics, joined the local brass band and honed skills as a piano accompanist and church organist for St Mary's Anglican Church in Timaru.

I joined Masonry in 1993 and was Master for my mother Lodge 3 times. In 2015 my wife and shifted to Christchurch where I joined Unity Lodge #271 and have been the organist there for the time being.
Arrived in New Zealand year 2009 from the Philippines. Been a WM of the The Concord Lodge No. 39 for two terms.

Sam is the Manager of a small Ventilation company operating in Christchurch. Having spent over twenty years traveling the world, he finally settled here in New Zealand with his wife Erna and their daughter Grace.

A keen motorcyclist both on and off road, he is Past President of the Widows Sons National Chapter and the South East Chapter, he also enjoys organising and participation in charitable events, when time permits.

As member of The Ashley Lodge No. 28 and Masters and Past Masters Lodge No.130, his extensive visits have enable him to developed many great friendships within all areas of the craft throughout the whole of New Zealand.
Dennis Lyons

Dennis has been a nomad in his life; born in Fiji, raised in Auckland, and, via Cambridge, Timaru, and Darfield, ended up in Christchurch 30 years ago.

He is a member of Lodge Takahe No. 397, and The Masters and Past Masters Lodge of Research, No. 130. Although Dennis has only been in the Craft since 2008, he has held every office in Lodge Takahe except Secretary, Treasurer, and Chaplain, and has been Master of Lodge Takahe for three consecutive terms.

He has been Grand Steward for the 2016 – 2019 term of Grand Lodge Officers. Hobbies include golf [when he can], photography [all the time], and trying to put as much into Freemasonry as he can, as time allows. Dennis is married, with two adult children.
